The Whispers From Your Inner Voice

By Evan Sanders

There are these moments during particular days where I have to be incredibly truthful with myself about what I am going through and feeling.

Whenever I've had this moment rush over me, I get this wave of energy coming from the lower part of my back and I feel my mood change. At one point in my life, it frightened me to death. I couldn't quite figure out what was happening, that sensation of water on my back, but eventually I came to terms with what I was trying to be taught.

What follows after this moment is pure stillness. Deep in thought. Numb. I feel truth bubble up to the surface.

There are many things functioning under the surface that we cannot see. We cannot see what is really planned for us. We cannot see how things are going to turn out. These things will surprise us and if we don't ruin that surprise, help us move forward into being the person we could truly be.

Many people try to move forward from their past without doing any type of healing work. You must heal. You must heal because without that healing you will have all sorts of trouble in creating a beautiful future for yourself. In order to be in this moment fully and be yourself completely, you must do the work you are so afraid to do.

Let thoughts and emotions flow through you as they wish to. Then, make the decision to move forward with your life. It's going to be incredibly difficult to control everything that is going on in life and frankly it's not a reality at all. You really don't have any control. The only thing you have control over is your own actions coming out of the situations that life constantly presents you with.

Have a very honest moment with yourself.

Life has an incredibly interesting way of shaping and molding you exactly the way you need to be in order to live the best life you can possibly live. It's not always going to be easy and there are going to be plenty of times where you will be challenged like crazy, but accept these challenges willingly. They will teach you a whole lot.

The moments of our life, especially the hard ones, can teach us many many things about living. They can teach us what really matters to us, what is possible for ourselves and why we feel the way we feel. The only time we cut ourselves off from experiencing life fully is when we try to run and hide from these thoughts and emotions. Don't. Stay on the field playing the game.
